Willoughby is on the east side of the bay, opposite Crossroads Rehab Centre
From Willoughby's east facing verandah, you can look across the water to the Crossroads Drugs Rehab Centre, well-known because musician Eric Clapton is one of its founders. Crossroads is close to the area where lies the sunken village.
Willoughby Bay was Antigua's first deepwater harbour during colonial times. Thankfully, the reef was not tampered with, and it remains home to a lot of wildlife. Our guests assure us that Willoughby has the best view ever. Windsurfers are in 7th Heaven.
About Us
'Willoughby' was built by a team of very capable builders in 1997 and construction was supervised by the owner, Rolston Michael. The house is situated in its own pretty gardens, about 100 feet from the water, although the reef-lined bay is quite safe from flood and tsunami, and the high water mark is never reached, not even in hurricane. The pool, a short distance from the villa, was built some months after the house. The deck is lined with stone tiles and therefore non-slip, and the pool surface is plastered with Diamond Brite.
Willoughby is in Red Hill

The beach at Red Hill is more a beachcomber's and nature walks beach. Love snorkelling? Willoughby Bay is ideal. To the north, on occasions turtles lay their eggs. Remember, they are a protected species.
As dusk falls, sit on the beach and observe the crabs dance. The ocean will soothe you to sleep.
