Red Hill or Crawl Bay

Willoughby is situated at Red Hill (sometimes called Crawl Bay) in Willoughby Bay.  The villa is just a short drive away from the St. James's Club, where our guests occasionally go to swim and where they are welcome to dine.  Don't wish to cook today?  Sample the cuisine at 'The Hideout', just minutes away.  There are many more fine eating houses in English Harbour and Falmouth.

The bay is ideal for hiking, snorkeling or a little angling off the rocks.  But don't forget Antigua has a beach for every day of the year, and Willoughby is the perfect base for trying them out, with Half Moon Bay in one direction and Pigeon Point in the other.

The Location

Willoughby Bay is the largest bay in Antiga.  It was the island's first deepwater harbour during colonial days.  Industrial traffic is no longer a feature of this very peaceful bay.  Normally, the only boats visible are smaller, private pleasure craft  or occasionally local fishing vessels.
